COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES
Welcome back to the Japanese Village Restaurant!
Our staff and customer safety is our number one concern. We have the right to refuse service to anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19. Please read below so that you will know what to expect when you come in:
- Please do not come in if you or someone in your party has just returned from travelling or has been in contact with someone who has just returned from travelling
- Please do not come in if you or someone in your party is feeling sick or have symptoms
- Please wear a mask at all times while inside the restaurant – You may take it off when you are seated at your table
- Please use hand sanitizer immediately upon entering the restaurant
- Please follow directional arrows when moving inside the restaurant and please use our designated entrance and exit doors
- You will be provided with a QR code to scan on your mobile device linking you directly to our menu. if you do not have a device or prefer a hard copy, please request one from your server
- We have reduced our occupancy capacity to 100 and the number of people dining at each table in accordance to our Provincial Health Officer
- We will be requiring the contact information from at least one person per group for dine-in
- We have created more space between patrons and staff
- We have added physical barriers where we cannot maintain physical distancing
- We have established new rules and guidelines for our staff to follow to help keep people physically distanced
- We will be ensuring that high-touch areas get more frequent cleaning and disinfecting
- We have intensified our cleaning and sanitizing regimens
- We will be urging our employees to stay home if they feel unwell and will be sending home anyone showing symptoms
- We have implemented the use of face masks and face shields for all employees
Walk-in availability will be very limited – Reservations highly recommended
